A beautiful agate box from the 19th century. This one has a delicate brass toned rim. Bright color and patina. There are three metal notches inside that suggest this may have been a match safe, with a hinged tinder strip that is no longer there. Would make a beautiful pill or ring box. Measures 2.5” long x 0.75” tall and deep.
