Antique Iroquois beaded whimsy in the shape of a heart pincushion. Made by Native American crafters between Canada and the United States as tourist souvenirs from the end of the 19th c. into the first half of the 20th. Covered with a mauve velvet and embellished with clear, burgundy, navy and amber beads. In excellent condition, no notes others than light wear and fading, as expected given age. Heart is 7.5” w x 7.5” h, 12” total drop with strap and fringe.
