A beautiful well-used treen container from the early 20th century. Made of turned wood, dyed red. Another satisfying object — the shape, the size, the great patina and softened edges. I believe it was a match-safe given the charcoal-like residue inside, but could be used for anything! Measures 4.5” tall x 1 7/8” diameter.
