Standring & Son Co soda water torpedo bottle, c. 1900. Standing & Son Co produced a torpedo shaped bottle that was designed to lay on its side to keep the cork moist, which prevented it from shrinking and therefore letting air out. The embossed inscription on the bottle reads: "Standring Son Co - Aerated Water - Manufacturers - Manchester". This bottle is in great shape, with lettering clearly visible, and measures 9".
