1920s deep red beaded purse, made with glass-beaded scalloped fringe throughout and a celluloid top (made to look like tortoise), complete with celluloid linked chain, and mirror inset into the lid. The interior lining is strong and was restored. Condition is very good — there are some mismatched plastic links in the chain, some scuffs on lid, patina on the inside and a couple areas of minimal missing beaded fringe in back and front, but they are well-hidden given the layers of beads. See photos. Closure works perfectly. No loose beads and strong!
