Rare and spectacular beaded wristlet from 1910-1920s. Turquoise and silver glass beads completely cover the silk body, with long beaded fringe intending far below the bag itself. A large turquoise flower is the center motif on both sides. Tassles are finished with turquoise beaded loops. If you part the tassles themselves, you’ll see the silk bad underneath is embroidered with swirling pattern of silver beads. In excellent condition considering material and age, with bag intact and only one or two strands that I could find with missing beads. Bag closes with original snaps. Handle with care as these bags were made to support just some makeup, cigarettes and cash! Total length including handle and fringe is 17”, width is 6.5”. Handle drop is 6” and the bag itself is 6” h.
